-best friends to lovers

Garrett and Shelby were the high school sweethearts of their small town. They grew up in the same hometown and they started dating in high school when they were just 16 years old. It all started with Garrett nervously making his move and sitting beside Shelby in class. They started out as best friends and naturally, it blossomed into a relationship.

After graduation, they planned to attend different colleges. Though it wouldn’t be easy, they decided to pursue a long-distance relationship. After those 4 years, it was time to tie the knot!

-a long time coming

Garrett and Shelby were one of those couples that everyone was rooting for. After nine years of dating, everyone was ready to finally celebrate the two becoming one. The amount of love and excitement on their wedding day made it clear that they were so well-loved by their friends and family.

Not everyone gets lucky enough to meet the love of their life at 16, but Garrett & Shelby did.

Their wedding day was a beautiful fall scenery with a touch of boho. Shelby paid amazing attention to detail when it came to planning her wedding. This was our first time filming at Owl Ridge and it was stunning. Their ceremony was held in the outdoor pavilion with an incredible fall backdrop. To add to that, this venue is located right beside Owl Creek with an amazing view. 

There were so many special moments that day. From the tears, Garrett shed while Shelby walked down the aisle, to the joyful celebration at their reception. To top it off, it all ended with a dazzling sparkler exit as the guests sent the couple off on their honeymoon.
