From Old Warehouse To Gorgeous Wedding Venue

Jacob & Emma Guge’s Wedding Day | Hicksville, Ohio

From the moment I met them, I knew I was going to be documenting an incredible wedding. Jacob and Emma are both naturally creative people, and after hearing about their plans to upscale an old warehouse, I couldn’t wait to see their vision come to life!

Jacob and Emma met while attending college at Grace College! Jacob was a freshman, and Emma was a sophomore. He had just moved into his dorm and was in the same hall as one of Emma’s best friends. They all met at the lake, and Jacob’s humor was the first thing Emma noticed about him.

After a couple of years of friendship, the feelings began to develop. One night Jacob drove Emma around telling her how much the past few months had meant to him, and he told her he liked her, and the rest was history.

I love how this film shows the different perspectives of their love story from their friends and family.

This was the very first wedding at The Handle Factory in Hicksville Ohio. Jacob and Emma were very involved in the process of turning this old warehouse into a gorgeous wedding venue. Although it rained off and on that day, it added so much sensory to this wedding film.

Jacob and Emma thought out every aspect of this day. They just wanted to have fun and hang out with their friends. They had a variety of activities such as ping pong, cornhole, a photo booth, and even a temporary tattoo bar!

They literally thought of everything! Despite not having a DJ, the dance floor was packed and everyone had so much fun, including me! I have never seen such a hyped dance floor in my 6 years of wedding videography!

To wrap up the day, the couple had a surprise for all of their guests. Right outside the venue, they had a projector set up and they played a home video of their relationship. As a videographer, I found this so special, and so did their guests.

Jacob and Emma were one of those couples that made me feel so welcome and a part of their circle. I am so honored to have documented their wedding day!
