One thing that has always been so important to me is documenting special moments in my life. I’ve always LOVED looking at old photos & home movies my parents had from my childhood.
Once I got my hands on our family video camera I was always creating. I would direct my friends and family and create my own “movies.” From home movies and music videos to school projects, you name it I did it. I later started a youtube channel as a way to easily share my videos and document my life.
How It Started
Fast forward to 2016, my friend Whitney asked me to video her wedding. She knew I made youtube videos and wanted a video to remember their special day. I remember being so shocked that someone would want me to do that for them. I had no idea what I was doing, so I told her this video would be my wedding gift to them.

The day of her wedding was such a blast. I loved being a part of every intimate moment of their day. From the tears, her dad shed seeing his daughter in her gown, to the celebration of their marriage. I loved every second of it.
After that wedding, the wheels in my head started turning. I had no idea people made a living filming weddings, but I was interested now.
Things Started To Take Off
Shortly after I shared that film, I got another request from a high school classmate. This was the first wedding I charged for, and I had no idea what something like this should cost. They paid me $250 for that wedding and I couldn’t have been happier.
Since I enjoyed filming and documenting that wedding so much, I decided to start a little side business if the inquiries kept coming in. And they did.
The following year I would film 14 weddings.
I never would have thought I could make a living off of being a full-time filmmaker.
I always knew I wanted to run my own business, but this had never crossed my mind.
I have learned and grown so much since my first wedding back in 2016. I have expanded from weddings and have created many types of films telling many different stories. I have met some of the most amazing friends and couples through this job. Without my trust in God, I wouldn’t have been able to take this business where I am today, and I am so thankful for His blessings.
